think you can just manually type in the extension you want (.obj) it ‘knows’ to oblige to your request…
how? in “obj” level, select a object in the viewport, then …
1. File -> Export (nothing happens …)
2. File -> Save/Save as, type “test.obj”, then the file name become to “test.obj.hipnc”.
i am new, houdini really complicated?

Hi, 员 探,
Not sure, sorry if it's not what you need, but maybe you're looking for this, if you haven't seen yet >

Houdini is the best, imo maybe the more complicated he is - the better.

Right click on the node whose geo you’d like to export and select /save/geometryAs well, mestela, answered you above, has site linked to as his signature under his message's body, my bad - almost haven't read it till now, but people mostly say it's great and has numerous topics covered, maybe you'll find time to check and discover it too.

Saving geometry as OBJ should still work. If it doesn't, it's either a bug, a file permissions issue, a process permissions issue, or something else odd.
Exporting to FBX or Alembic aren't allowed in Houdini Apprentice because that would provide an easy way for users to circumvent pretty much every limitation in Houdini Apprentice. Although doing so would still violate the End User License Agreement, it's probably best to remove the temptation.

Writing code for fun and profit since... 2005? Wow, I'm getting old.

I can not even export the model to the blender?
The main export settings work only in the commercial version, I understand? What is the price of a commercial license? And more such question the free-of-charge version operates only month?
