Hey guys

I'm working on a still shot, and I ran into a problem with Hair. I found no tutorial on hair shading. The documentation says, Hair Shader is hidden because it's discontinued or something similar.

Could anyone suggest me a good tutorial on hair shading with Houdini?

Hmmm. What bothers me is the fact, that when I use the Apply Fur, it doesn't add the Textured Hair shader, but the old HairShader. It doesn't have glint, and any other parameters but the old shader which is said discontinued…
