Hi;
I have two FBX files – one contains animated mocap data, the other a rigged mannequin. I would like to transfer the animation from the mocap file onto the rigged character; is there a straightforward way to do this (before I go down the tedious and painful path of copy-pasting animation curves from individual bones)? Presumably I may also need to be aware of offsets (i.e. if one file is in a different coordinate space than another).
Thanks!

If your two FBX files have the same bone names, you may be able to simply point one rig to the chop network of the other.
There is also a retargeting technique you can try.
