Hello! I've just started to use Houdini apprentice and I was wondering if there are anyways to export meshes from apprentice into a .obj file format as I would love to 3d print some meshes I have been creating. I thought Apprentice would be capable of allowing one to do this but if not, why? Thanks.

Right mouse click the last node and select “save” and name it Filename.obj . Make sure it is saved to a directory that exists.

Yes, but keep in mind you can only export .obj and Houdini internal geometry file formats. More here [www.sidefx.com].

Try putting down a Geometry ROP under the node that holds the geometry you want to export. Put in the path in the File Path parameter of the Geometry ROP and press Render.
This is a more Houdini-esque workflow.
