DEADLINE CHANGED: Since the SideFX website was down again last night because of a power issue, the deadline for Day 25 has been moved to Midnight March 26th EDT. The deadline for Day 26 will also be Midnight March 26th EDT.

Welcome to Day 25 which focuses on the IK Chain node.

Catch a moment of calm with the Harpist, its music will definitely subdue you, and the shrills will knock-out any trespassers!

IK used to position the fingers and the arms. Still looking on how one could do it in one big loop instead of stacking the operations.
Also including an alt image after I had the hardest time deciding which one to submit, link below the post !

I used this as an opertunity to mock up a double pendulum dungeon trap

I feel like this node could be really fun for building lots of mechanical environment props like this.

Day 25 IK Chains

The One That Carries Burdens of The Earth

IK Chians is a really cool tool which makes posing much easier. I am quite happy about the right I have created which allowed to plant hands and feet in place and then adjust the rest of the body (without changing hands and feet positions), so the person actually looks like he's carrying something heavy.
It's been a lot of fun. I am definitely going to look more into rigginf with KineFX.

crowds + kinefx. Ended up taking the day off yesterday and then was a little tooo rusty with crowds to pull this off today but did manage to build my own agent from scratch.
