Hi,

I have a question about the creation of a surface. I have a copy to point and line, so I want to create a planar surface (so no thickness) so I used the skin sops, but I have also the creation surface inside.

The source of Copy to the changes point is not regular in the time but changes a number of points frame by frame.

Any idea for creating a surface from the line without the intersection?

I attached the images for a better description and the file

Thanks and good Friday
Matteo

ps.: I try also to create a group for deleting it, but not a good solution

Hi,

you can try boolean instead of intersection analysis and extract the boundary shape. With this shape you can sort the primitives.

I try but I don't understand why in some of my frames I am missing the geometry, I try to work on the vex for forcing it but it didn't work better... works on some frames and not on others...

any idea?

I don't understand why, but I close and re-open Houdini, and all working well without any problem.... like I don't say anything, thanks again for your help
