I am trying to create a large star effect by modifying this burning tire tutorial.
https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/pyro/burningtire.html [www.sidefx.com]

By turning off all the Shape contributors, except Disturbance.
So you end up with a burning sphere that emanates outward.

It's close to the look I'm after, but there are flickering artifacts in the VDBs in the Karma renders.
I first tried increasing pixel samples, which suppresses the high frequency noise, but there is still low frequency noise, that appears to be happening in the VDB formation, from one frame to the next.

Any ideas what is causing the VDBs to flicker and how to suppress it?
It appears to be happening deeper inside the sphere, if that provides any clues.

Houdini 19.5.368 - Py3.9 on Linux CentOS 7

Thanks

Sorry a bit late but did you use any denoiser?
I had a similar question about reflective objects flickering and I did not get any answer.
Please share your thoughts if you have found any solution.
