Hi there, just noticed that in my clumsy newbie state of learning Houdini Apprentice I managed to turn off the icon flyovers in the selection toolbar (right-click) I now get popup menus with text options..

Just wanted to ask if there's a way of turning the icon flyovers back on?

Not quite sure I understand you there. Do you mean Edit > Tooltip Help?

I thought I'd illustrate.
Thanks for the reply I don't think it's related to tooltips (?)

This is what I get when I click on the object select button –
instead of the nice icon strip (buttons) I get the normal text menu above.

I remember seeing some nice icons flyover when I clicked that button after installing Apprentice.
Just wanted to find out if there's a setting where I can get them back?

Thanks.

I think you are thinking of Photoshop Houdini has never had flyout icons that I am aware of, just the menu…

I was referring to the icons above that I could swear used to come flying if
I clicked on a selection toolbar button?

You sure I'm imagining things??

Hmmm. Now I'm doubting myself. I don't honestly remember them, but I'm not an Icon guy so I usually don't notice the icons…

I think I've seen that too. But I never used it so I didn't notice it was missing. Clicking and holding the second button down gives you the menu for the items in your icon example.
