hey guys,

Just have a quick question.

In ubuntu i had edited the Terminal file so when i opened up a terminal houdini_setup and fuzzytoolkit_bash (whatever) would source automatically.

Thing is i want to edit that file and i cant remember which one is it.

I know i added the location at the endof the file, and i got that from the houdini website but i cant find it on their either, it says refer to the houdini_install script or something and when i do that it sends me elswhere.

So all i need is the name and locaiton of the file in ubuntu where i have added houdini_source etc .

Thanks

It could also be in the global version of those same files.

/etc/profile
/etc/bash.bashrc

or even /etc/environment

Although, most of the time $HOME is on it's own partition so editing ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc makes more sense, and is more likely to be what you did.

I use OpenSuse 10.3, it works here for me with editing ~/.profile

cd /opt/hfs9.1.xxx
source houdini_setup_bash

save it, and logout.

I'm trying the same way, but it says that there is no such file, houdini_setup_bash
strange, it resides in /opt/hfs etc directory …

my code is

cd /opt /opt/hfs9.5.156
source houdini_setup_bash
cd ~

what could be wrong?
