Hello!
I'm playing around with vop sop and I want a null object position to affect my vop sop attribute. I can actually create a relation between my null and the vop sop, but the minute I want to animate the null, I get an error message in the vop sop, saying there cannot be attribute within vop sop that are affected by time(or something like that)….
So the question is, can I use animated object to drive parameters in the vop sop, or this can't be done in any ways?
Thanks alot! I attached my scene to this post…
Animated parameters in vop sop?

Aaaah that makes sense! thanks Dajuice!
How do you put the parameter directly in the vopsop?
I can't find the edit parameter option that I usually have when I click on the gear icon in the parameter panel…?

Heya,
The idea here is to create a parameter vop, piped into the value that you wish to animate. This will create appropriate fields at the top level of the vop-sop. (at the sop level, assuming that it's a sop-vop)
Just jump back out ‘outside’ the vop-sop network (the new parameter field should already exist in the parameter panels), and apply the animated channel at the top level of the definition. ie: at the interface created by the vop-sop.
Lemme know if you need more clarification.
