Also auto-alinement is not perfect at all because when you move nodes with network view zoomed out,you can barely notice the auto-alinement.

Does any one know it?

If you drag something and hovering your cursor near the margin,the network view slide automatically;

This feature is to me an unwanted,inconvenient,and disrupting feature…………

because of this feature,you can never make the most use of your screen space.
Nodes near the margin can never been comfortably selected by a rectangular selection.

Houdini Engine API » how to alter the parameter dependency of a sop node?(to avoid cooking when changing parameters)

In building a sop via houdini 16 HDK,I have noticed that if you import parameters from a file,then changing these parameters won't cause the node to cook(cookMySop func).However,if you write these same parameters in your code,then changing them will cause the node to cook.

So what I want is :while my parameters are hard-coded,changing them won't cause the node to cook.
I want the node to cook only when I tell it to cook(by clicking a button).

It seems a problem of “data dependency graph”;but I have no idea what it is..

When editing parameter interface(houdini 16),if I click on one of the string parameters,
the “Apply”,“Accept” buttons jump out of the screen!
to get them back,I have to rotate my screen 90 degrees,which is very annoying.

My screen resolution:1366*768

there are same issues when I try to importing FBX (houdini 16&15).this time the path channel jumps out of the screen.however,it's ez to solve this just by draging my windows Os taskbar to the right side.
