I bought a new hard drive and new ram .
I have 32gb ram
2T Hard Drive
AMD FX 8350
I tested my Ram for some Hours and everything was fine.
So i think my system is stable.It only happen when i work with Houdini and i simulate or rendering something.

Hi Guys,
i get a bluescreen or mantra crashed when i simulate a bigger pyro simulation.That happend in different scenes and different frames. I read something about Ram Problems in Windows.But this Threads talking about Houdini 12-13.
I use Houdini 15.0.347 and Windows 7.
Is there any solution for this problem? It happend also if the Ram isnt full.

Hi Guys,
i have a scene where i want to blow up a house.For this scene i have different constraint types in my Dop Network. The Problem is at the Frame where the explosion happend, all voronoi fracture pieces dissappears. When i look in the constraint settings, i see that by my cone constraint the angle attribute has the value -1.#IND. The same value has my hard constraint in the distance attribute.
I broke and delete my constraints with sops.Is that the problem ?
I really hope anybody can help me. I have know idea how i can fix that problem.

Hello,
i have an problem. I want to destroy an building .This building has to different components.For both parts i create at first the scatter and voronoifracture.At the End i create Active Points with an attributetransfer and the distance threshold. It works very well.But there is one mistake.Some pieces are freeze in the air .And i dont know why.If i delete the active points, everything works very well.But i need the active points.
And a second problem is that the little pieces at the ground are bouncing.
I hope someone can help.That would be great.

ok i will test it. An other question anyone knows some good beginner tutorials.
Of course this site have some good tutorials .But i search after tutorials that explain only one node and not a specific problem. For example an Tutorial about the vopsop or the Foreach node .
That would be cool. Because sometimes i have problems with the houdini help and i dont understand anything.

mh this is bad.Does anyone know an other solution. Maybe rendering the simulation in maya, the smoke in houdini and then i merge it in nuke?

Because i want to destroy a house.So i want create the simulation in houdini , the smoke in fumefx for maya, the textures in mari and the rendering in maya with vray.

mhhh sorry i dont understand. I have here the original UV Test File. I hope someone can help me. Im so confused. The first file “ZweiteEtage.obj” works very well.I have a good UV in maya. The second file is the same only more subdivisons and extrudes. But by this file i get this error.
