Hi,
I want to bake occlusion data in a pc file. The ideia is to render the whole scene from a bake cam and later render the actual image from another camera.
My problema is the occluded surface (Enable Hidding is disable) that is not rendering right, how you can see in the images below.
The hip and otls attached in this post is a modified version of the files that I got from http://www.circusmonkey.com.au/circusmonkey/PointClouds.html. [circusmonkey.com.au] (I add two takes, read and write, besides other things)
I try change the radius and number of points in the pcopen function but so far is not work.
So, can you help me?

Hi,
I've a questão about what kind of transformation houdini does in the rotation channels when I import a BVH file in my scene. No problem about the animantion, it is working right, but the rotation channels has nothing to do with the rotation channels in my BVH file. The mcbiovision utility does some kind of quaternion transformation?

Hi,
I would like to know if is it posible to use python to change a HDA's Parameter Description?
What I want is to make some HDA's parameters invisible always I press a buttom and the way I'm thinking to do that is to toggle the “Invisible” option in the HDA's Parameter Description like in image below.
So, someone knows how to do that?

I can delete the parameter that I create, but I can't delete the transform and subnet parameters that cames always I create a new HDA

Hi,
Someone know how can I remove a paramenter from HDA?
In the help doc has the folow instruction
“Click the red X to the right of a parameter name in the parameter list to remove it”
The problem is that I can´t see any red X in the paramenter tab of The type properties window
Any help wil be welcome

When I setup a project in Maya it create whole folder and sub-folder (Scene, Image, texture, etc), in Houdini isn't there nothing like that? Have I that create the whole folder and sub-folder system every time I open a new project? is there any script that makes it happen automatically?

This it´s a easy question, but I'm a newbie and I don't find any tutorial about this topic. I would like to know how works the houdini's filesystem, what the point of the $HIP, $JOB and $TEMP folders. What the function of each folder? I just don't know the diference between them

My problem is that I don´t know how modify the muscles in the Deform rig, I can see them but I can´t select them in the scene view, do you how can I do that?

After spent a lot of time weighting my character I found that the muscles were in the wrong place, someone can tell me how can I fix this?
I want to move the muscles to better place or change the capture region but I don´t know do that how do that in Autorig.
Digging the Deform rig network I can see the muscles and the capture region mas I can´t do nothing with them, someone can help me?
I would like to know too, How can I add muscles in my characther that have already be captured.

Hello,
Thank you for your help, I will try this latter, but before, I would to know if I have to handle this thing, “Scene space” and “Object Space”, when I use a Geometry ROP to export my animation, I am asking because the same problem happened when I tried this approach to export my animation.

Hi guys,
I am trying export obj files (a basic bouncing ball animation with 10 frames as a example) from houdini to maya, but something very strange is happening, all obj file has the same data (same vertices, same faces, etc), I did not notice any diference between them, seems the houdini exported only the frame 1 of may animation.
So, when I imported them in Maya, every file was loaded in origin, doesn´t matter if test01.obj (frame 1, ball in origin) or test10.obj (frame 10, ball 10 units high), both are loaded in origin in maya.
But, this problem doesn´t happen in houdini, the sequence file is imported nicely, everything is ok, models, animation, material, everething is fine. So, can someone help me?

I can run a tshirt simulation without a character nicely, but the trouble shows when I try make a character (with animation and deformtion rig) in a RBD object, I just can´t select my character, this doesn´t happen when my character is just a model without animation and deformation rig. So, can someone tell me what is happend?
