Any tips on which parameters need to be tweaked. There are a lot in houdini! I only want it vaguely similar.
I've put the time scale to 2 and reduced the surface tension.

Hi,
I'm trying to do a crown splash. And its looking amazing but I need to refine it.
Is there a way I can speed up the simulation. For some reason its all in slow motion? I was re-timing it in post but I want to reduce the particle separation and increase the size of the fluid tank but I'm now running out of hard disk space!! If I could reduce the simulation from 400 frames to 100 that would solve some problems.
Any ideas?

Hi
I am a new user and I am trying to creating smoke rings?
I started with an animated torus with a mountain sop and applied Billowy Smoke.
The smoke doesn't role and there is no drag.
It the right way of doing this.

Hi
I am a 3ds Max user dabbling in Houdini
I am doing a lego animation. I need to separate my mesh via colour.
I have a mesh I put through a VDB to turn it into cubes
I then used a texture map with Attribute Transfer to giver the cubes their colour. points cd
My texture map is simple blocks of colour.
My question is there a way of separating the mesh into groups via their colour? The group sop looks promising but I don't know how to do it.
Thanks

Hi
I am new to Houdini Just installed Indi 16.0.600
I Exported out a .abc from 3ds max. Ogawa format. I also tried the HDf5.
When I import Alembic scene I get Failed import.
The dialogue box comes up and when I make selection in “Object path” I can see all the objects. I select them all. Press Import and get the Failed to import error.
Weirdly yesterday I could do it. I tried importing yesterdays .abc file and now get the same error.
I can export an .abc from Houdini and then import.
Any ideas?
