Hi
I have no idea about the problem. I did a same thing but everything was fine. Also, you may try writing in .bgeo format. It is more stable for me…
cheers

Hi Tom,
1- Yes. doing subdivision in SOP is a better idea (based on my experience)
2- Definitely it increases the render time… using bump map might help…
3- I think Gaussian is more slow. It depends on the resolution of the texture. However, using rat files is more efficient specially for animation rendering. (You will see a big difference)

Hi papi,
Happy new year
The Sand Solver is an interesting tool. However, the simulation is very similar to the flip solver. I am interested in using gas sand force along with flip solver because the help for this node says:
“The fluid is then broken into a series of rigid components whose strain is insufficient to separate the grains of sand. These components velocities are projected to be rigid.”
I want to use this ability for making something like a snow impact simulation…. I have used sand solver but the result is way different…

Hi friends,
Does anyone know how Gas Sand force microsolver should be used??
I have attached it to the flip solver and particle fluid solver but I have not seen any change.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I had exactly the same problem. I have a gtx580. I got that error until I reinstalled my OS… I dont know why but I think driver conflict was the issue

Hi friends,
Is it possible for RBD fractured object node to detect changes in number of groups during simulation? As you know this node takes groups at creation time and starts simulation. But during the simulation it can not add new group to the simulation…

I cut the attribute create node for pintoanimation variable and pasted it in a sopsolver node inside dopnetwork. It seems that the problem has solved but I have noticed that I get the same result for different rigid body selection…

Dear friends,
I have a question about turning an animated object into a cloth object. I have searched the forum. It says that using sopsolver in H12 is the key. I have used sopsolver but it does not work. I have worked on an example from cloth master class. How can I fix this file for H12?

sry it was silly mistake ops: Value for mass attribute was too low
and thank you alejandro. I used your file and everything works now…

it is very cool work but it does not use any point attributes to override any part of simulation :?

Hi all. I want to use costume point attributes to control forces in DOP. for example create a magnet force for a tube which has different point attributes for mass, so we can build something like first part of this:

I found a tutorial about it, but it is for c4d.
any idea pleaseeeeeee

Thank you arctor. yes it worth to make different characters.
I think stamping/CHOPs works same as stamp/COPy node and it can not be used for particle instancing… :?
