I would like if it's possible to use attribute to displace a mesh.
I watch the attribute tutorial series in the site :

I wonder how to use the color attribute transfert to the grid to dsiplace it.

Hello,
I test smoke simulation and I am rendering on disk a smoke animation.
How can reload it and play it in other scene.
When I create a smokeobject and I put the path of my file's sequence nothing happens.
Have I to add something in the AutodopNetwork ?

i am not sure to understand your edit
In the vopsop P is the points of my grid but I need the coord of the pivot of my sphere … how can I imort that in my VOPSOP ?

hmm
it seems only the first point of grid object is affected by my VOPSOP ….
why my attrbiute react with only the first poin of my an object.
I use it as pivot reference …

Hello,
I can't import attribute I created in VOPSOP node.
When i check in the detail view I can see the value of my attribute but when I use importAttribute node in the VOPSOP nothing happen. When I check the value with the console there only “adata: {0.000000,0.000000,0.000000}”I import a vector

I didn't except something like that
I'll try as soon as possible.
But if a bake a particle sim in bgeo sequence with a Sprite node in the Pop network and I reload it with a fileOP, what happen to the sy and sx of the sprite node ( I guess their are baked in bgeo aswell).
Does The shader sy and sx parameter overwrite the sx and sy of the bgeo ?
Not sure to be clear ( It ‘s late here and my english ’s crap )

Sprite node allows to put some sprite shader to particle. It's great but …
The Scale of the sprite is control by the Sprite node and I am not sure to like it.
I would ike to be able to change the size of my sprite with my shader instead of Sprite Pop
Is it possible ?

ok it works now.
A big hemisphere I added to make a background was taken by the shader.
Is there a shader node to add background for a render. I come from Lightwave where there is this kind of features.

I made some test with the voronoise fracture DOP.
I created some shading for my ground and my vase.
Everything is fine.
Now I am trying to add ambient occlusion. I follow an example provide in this site but there is no difference in my render ( so much slower btw).
I use template light and gilight shader node.
What's wrong in my scene please

hello,
I am working on a sprite shader based on the 3dbuzz tutorial.
And the problems comes together …
I use a ramp to set the color of my sprite.
the ramp can be “dependent” of the life of my particle, their scale or their speed.
I would like to know if it'possible to get OGL color match with my color gradient.
With something like that :
chramp(“Color”,0,0)
I have the red channel but only a the very beginning of the ramp.
I cant see what kind of expression to use to make the ogl color right.
Of course the shader “works” without that but if it's possible to get a ogl preview of color, I would like to try to achieve it.

I created metaballs link with a popnet by a copySOP.
I wonder how to change the size of my metaballs with this attribute ( the life of my particles).

ok
I understand better now but i have still some problems importing attributes in vop shop.
In the file attached ( simple particle emission) I try to make some change in the color of my sprite using attribute like speed or life …
When I connect a parameter node ( with the specific attribute name) nothing is append except for color ( Cd) and alpha (Alpha).
I don't know what I miss …
