Is it possible to execute a top network using a button and callback script on an HDA inside of Unreal? When I press the button in Houdini my code executes and the topnetwork runs. but If I try to press the button in Unreal it doesn't work. Any ideas?
I should have added that I'm using v1 of Houdini engine so it may not be possible.

I'm having some issues with COPs where as soon as I try to perform a channel copy, with both images set to 16 bit integer depth, the resulting ROP file output changes the image to 64bit. Does anyone know a fix for this as I would like to keep it at 16.

Does anyone know why it iss that when I output my channelcopy after injecting an Alpha it only renders out the red channel? In my copoutput it is set to export color plane “C” and Alpha plane “A”. my original image is greyscale but it is only spitting out the red channel when it renders.

That’s what I was wondering and the env/json file should be in your user_prefs_dir or in the case of json files the user_prefs_dir/packages? Or should it be in the unreal project folder?

When using the hdaprocessor in tops how do you get Unreal to recognize a global variable. Is there a certain var name you should use like in Unity with the HEU_ENVPATH. I know in Unity you can create a env file that is then rocognized in Houdini. What is the process for Unreal in order to be able to use the hdaprocessor node in Unreal so I can point it to the correct directory of the hdas?

I'm having a similar issue I can only seem to launch a single machine type through amazon which is the 20 ec2 Compute units with 7 gb's of ram. I hope they fix this soon. I should note I'm using a fully licensed version, but am still having a similar issue.
