hi everyone,
i created a geometry in houdini, it’s a simple structure for this moment, and it’s flat, only y position is displaced.
my goal is to create a displacement map from this structure.
But i don’t know how..
I found on this forum a solution for create displacement map from a sphere, and after unwrap UV… but it seem really complicated..
there is no way more simple?
I hope there is a simple solution..
someone have an idea?

i’m sorry but i don’t find in “search”
perhaps some can help me..
i created a circle, then, i moved points and applied bevel to some points, but not all..
Now, when i check my curve, points number are not following.
I want that my points number are following..
Someone have an idea how make this?
i try with sort node, but it’s not possible.. perhaps with expression, but i don’t know..

Now, i need to modify, to edit this curve…
there is a node like “EDIT” for transform my ascii curve? In fact i need to change only a few points.
which node can i use for change my ascii file into points?you understand?

In fact, houdini was bugged.. it seem me..
a simple transform matrix relied to my Cd attribute was ok, but 12.5 have a problem and rotate is sometime not take… and sometime yes..
But now it’s ok for me..

i learn vopsop..
actually, i can translate my point with soft transformation (i created a paint color node black to white) and i can translate white points and not black points..
I have a big problem (for me)
I want this points rotate too.. like translate, white point full rotated and black points no rotated..
Now, i can only translate, but not rotate.
I searched all my day.. and nothing…. Please someone can help me?

now, i obtain my 3 polygons with their area. i can see each in spreadsheet.
now i want delete the most larger area..
but i want use an expression for this, not enter a number… because i want use on many object.
i use a delete node, but how i can choose the most larger area?

hi everyone,
i have a problem and don’t find solution, i searched on forums, but nothing…
i created multi geometry in my node, each have an UV node..
then, i merge all.. at this moment, all is perfect, but when i connect a last geometry to my merge node, all my UV are destroyed.. and in my merge node, i have this message:
A mis-match of attributes on the input was detected.
Somes attributes values may not be initialized to expected value.
Now, i don’t know how use “attribute” node.
Someone can explain me how make for correct this problem?
