Hi, I had the same issue when I installed one of the 3rd party renders (Arnold or Renderman) not quite sure..hmm try deleting the Houdini user folder, something like C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\houdini18.5 (save a copy just in case before deleting) that should help, I guess, and check which plugin causing that, if that's the issue.

1. If you need to detect collided pieces.
The impacts are recorded as data for your object. You can use those impacts within a SOP Solver node plugged onto your rigid body or multiple solver. You can use the name attribute on the impact points to find the colliding rbd pieces.
Or you can detect the colliding objects with "Impact Analysis" [www.sidefx.com]
2. it's possible to check directly if the piece connected to the constraint network is broken.
for this, you need the "Geometry" of your "constraintnetwork". And there is a group there called "broken" (on the pic)

I'm using H18.5.598 Indie + Unreal 4.25.4
The scene and the cache inside the archive.
It only breaks with the "soft (constant topology) method. The "rigid" is fine.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce the issue. But unlike what's in the screenshot, the pos min/max I am getting from your file is -54.59509 and 43.37052. Also have you tried using the MF_VAT_Soft from our content plugin (accessible on the VAT ROP interface via a button).

make sure you have the "kinefx__rigpose" state in your asset and you use the "compute rig pose" node as well.

Hi, you also need to convert your fields to a single field.

I reckon you need to remap the same colours in Maya based on "heat" field.
Or remap the heat field the same way in Houdini and export the "Cd" vector field to Maya.

Hi, Why don't you use for this? you can sample the Y position this way in literally one line of code.

Ok, I replaced the LAB to sRGB conversion with just the sRGB values from this table [xritephoto.com].
At least I know that I use sRGB now

Hi,
I need to recreate a color chart in Houdini.
I'm using values from this table.

And convert the values from that table like this in VEX.
And then convert that color to ACES
Does this seem like the correct method or not?

You were very close ... you just had "Vexpression" set on the wrong parameter. If you switch that one back to "None" and instead change "Specify Material Using" (and go back to "/materials/...") then it should work for you.
