Allright, great idea for that RFE.
I am not that versed yet in TOPs but I will look into that latter method with the Attribute from String.

PDG/TOPs » TOPs: batch convert image-sequences to movies

Hi,
Recently found a flipbook generator PDG Asset.
I however still like to make the flipbooks from the viewport since I get less predictable results from the OpenGL ROP in that HDA.
(I name each flipbook-render differently, and sometimes use png or jpg as the file extension.)
I still would like to batch convert the images-sequences into movies, however.
Is it possible to load multiple image-sequence into TOPs, and make a movie for each?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
So with the Ends SOP on Unroll we can extract wireframes from polygon surface. How do we extract the wireframes of NURBs surfaces, as curves?
Thanks in advance. :-)

How to do this in a Snippet VOP?
P.s. I know you can use Parameter VOP, but I kinda ask this in relation to my comment right here :$ : https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/73545/?page=1#post-310869 [www.sidefx.com]
I'm in COPs so no real possibility to use a direct Wrangle.

RodrigoMartin
you can read them in a for loop
Would this also be possible in VOPs?
I would like to make For Loop based on a multiparm of multiple "smallerthan_thres and biggerthan_thres" couples...
but no idea how to insert an string into the Parameter VOP like you can in the chf() functions of VEX.

Not sure how to do this (in my case: reading the plane) from the other inputs.
The bind VOP works, but for the other input, importpoint VOP doesn't work. How do I get the @ptnum/current pixel/iteration?
Edit: "opinput1_C2" in the bind VOP also doesn't work. (just read this does work in SOP's VOPs)

Learned how to use the Inline VOP, and there I can do it..
Still don't understand why they did remove the VOP node though. :/

Hi there,
How do we build an array in VOPs from multple arguments/inputs?
I see this old VOP exist, but is hidden/not supported anymore.

Interesting. I didn't expect the spline function to work it because the docs didn't mention 'bspline' as an possible option for the basis argument.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I would need to know that now,
Because the ramp_lookup function doesn't get me the same result when given the three arrays:
I'll log this as a bug to SideFX,
If someone knows a way to fix this, or how to pack the ramp back again, I'd like to know. :-)

Thanks,
I would wanna know if it’s possible to pack it back again, to the string argument,
Or should we have to have it as those 3 arrays if we want to carry it along the node tree as a changeable attribute?

Looked for wildcard syntax in regex, but I don't really understand it or find the right answer. Do you know it? It's practically the only thing I need to know.
With the Attr String Edit SOP I have this problem that it operates on the updates values also. (Already submitted an RFE for an option to have an option to iterate on input values only)
See picture: In the end just everything is 'capBottom', 'capTop' is just dissapeared
Thats why I went into a wrangle, because there I could write it unto a temporary attribute.

Hi guys,
In the Blend Transform VOP of KineFX, we can choose to only blend the rotations,
but is it also possible to blend only one axis of the rotation?
How is that done?
In my example file, I like to blend only the Y-rotation.
Thanks for any help, it's really appreciated

I go with the attribute copy method also,
But what is happening here under the hood? Is there nothing to detect, debug or solve such a thing? Why is one point completely near the curve and while all the other points keep a distance from the curve? By what is that controlled? By something the user could acces? or something hidden?
It seems so random and inexplicable, uncontrollable, like a bug or something.
