Hi there
I have some facial mo-cap (fbx) data files. They are just the movements of a collection of nulls. But I wonder how I could use those data to move the geometry in Houdini? How can I use mo-mapped data to move Houdini's facial Geometry? Does anyone have any idea? I urgently need help! Please help.

Hi ,
I am going to make a human head. Could anyone point me to a Houidni tutorial which shows how to use the tool “UV pelt” to create the UV for a human head?
Any help will be highly appreciated!
thanks!

I am now learning how to use the UV pelt sop. But according to Houdini's UV pelt's tutorial, it shows only how to use the UV pelt to handle the monkey's body. How about the monkey's hands and head? SHould I use UV unwrap instead of UV pelt for its head and hands. Or I should use set centre primitive on its hand and head again with a seperate UV Pelt?
This is a new tool to me. It is a bit vague for me. please help! thanks for your attention!

Hi there,
I just watched “The Hulk”. I just found the dust and sand looked very real in “The Hulk” especially when the Hulk was running on the dessert and step on the ground. right now I am trying to make similar thing with Houdini's particle. This is going to be my first pop project. Could anyone show me a direction of how I should begin. I am planning to use rman's noise cloud with opacity for the particles dust shader. Hopefully, it would have some volume looking. But the force is really a hard topic for me. Does anyone know how ILM did their dust for the Hulk?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
Does anyone know how I can add points on a polygon curve or add points in between a curve? I know I can do it with the refine sop but can I do it interactively in the viewer?

I still cannot get that worked even I had turn down the gravity value and snap only on the C-plane edge. Did anyone got it working successfully? (especailly when having more than 1 point selected)

Hi there,
I am currently learning how to model in Houdini, I ‘m just having difficulty to move my edit point snapping the vertical contruction plane line. I do not want to snap it to the contruction plane’s point but the vertical line. Is it possible? Could someone please show me how?

Hi there,
I am currently making a front wheel cover of a motor bike. Whenever I tried to add some thickness of the polygonal geometry, some ugly edges will appear. Does anyone have any idea of how I could fix it?

I am interested to know how to use the bakeVex to bake the displacement map. Does that mean it can be viewed in the viewer in realtime? Did anyone make that successfully with the bakeVex sop. Can anyone post an example here if it is handly?

HI
I am currently figuring out how connectivity sop works. According to the help document, it assigns a “class” attribute on each connected point but how can I alter each value of that “class” attribute? Anyone got any example on it? (since the help document does not have any example on it)
