Hello
I saw a simple rigidbody sample in Cinema4D, but when I want to make it in Houdini software, the balls move through the static object !
I turn on Use Deformer Geometry and Use Object Transform in the static Object but I have same problem !
Please check this video for RBD in the cinema4D, and help me to make this sample in houdini !

Sometimes HoudiniLicenseServer is disable !
Make sure that it is enable in the Services on win7
If it is Start, restart HoudiniLicenseServer.

Hi
I can't download any assets from www.orbolt.com.
I sign in with my Sidefx's Accouant and when I click on Download to get specify Digital asset from www.orbolt.com I get below error :

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (orbolt) isn't associated with any program.
You might need to install other software to open this address.

I check it on FireFox, chrome,IE but I get error again !

You have 2 choose my friend :
1.turn off “Allow Caching To Disk” in the AutoDopNetwork Parameters
2.change Houdini temp directory to your 3TB drive via below way :
Create Environment Variables in Win7
Variable name: HOUDINI_TEMP_DIR
\\make a directory in your 3TB drive and set variable value to this path for example :
Variable Value : E:\Houdini_temp
and finally restart Houdini
NOTE : I suggest to you that choose second way

and I have another question, why Plastic effect for cloth does not work in Houdini 12 but it's work in Houdini 11 correctly ?

but I can switch between keyframe animation and cloth simulation only with “pintoanimation” attribute in Houdini 11 .
this way is too simple for me.
but when I open project file in Houdini 12 this is does not work !

I used pintoanimation attribute to switch between keyframe animation and dynamic animation.
In Houdini 11 every things are correct but in Houdini 12 I think pintoanimation dose not work !

I want assign Displacement to high res Pyro .
I active rest field in the pyro solver.
set Displacement's Parameters in the Shader and enable displacements in shading tab.
but when I render scene pyro does't has any Displacement effect !
I don't know why !

Hi
I created a path and use a custom node to growth a surface along path in every frame.
I scattered some points on the surface but I want do something to fix position of the scattered point's on the surface !
I turn off “Scatter Based On Primitive Area” on the scatter Node .
but only when I set “Point per Area” to 1.0 the point's has fixed position and if I set this parameter to less than 1.0 the points has random position in every frame.
How I can fix this problem ?

I have animated Carve SOP (with very large and long curve) and I attach a Coin to Curve's path.
maybe I have to export animated path on the disk and attach coin to this bgeos !
I used Mantra Surface for coin's material (with Displacement Map & Normal Map)
I used GI and Spot Light for lighting and turn on Irradiance Cache in the mantra node.but I don't know why I take error in some frames !?
