oops, i just realized we were counting primitives, not points.
So it should rather be nprimitivesgroup in vex or nprimsgroup in hscript

What would be extremely helpful, is that you posted a sim done in maya or c4d, an then someone experienced with houdini cloth try to match it.

“That is extract a input control from a group”
What you call a group is not a group, it's a geometry container, a group is a set of primitives, edges, or points. You use groups in sop level, this means inside a geometry container. So it's not analogous to a Nuke group.
“it's possible that geo1 have a secondary input (not for parenting) point to custom parameter inside this geo1?”
I don't think so, I still think what you want is an object merge. Just make a scene and I´ll hook it up for you.

Yes, npointsgroup, either hscript expression or vex function, they're called the same.
@count is declared in the node I typed it in.
@numprim is an attribute always available, just like @P, @N, @ptnum, @primnum, @numpt.

You need to lock the nodes that reference files on disk.
You do this by ctrl-clicking the red flag on the left side.

I think i'm a genius, i might have finally cracked the code, i mean, your question.
You have a tube-like shape, you want to create a group of the primitives that are facing inward, but only the ones which are larger. And then count how many primitives there are in this group.
So you're placing a single point with add sop, and use that with a dot product to detect the inward facing prims.
Now you don't know how to exclude the smaller prims, but you were informed you could do it using a measure sop.
Ok, check this scene.

Oh, sorry, are you actually asking how to use the measure sop to calculate the area of each prim? Given that by default it gives you the perimeter?
If so, change type to “area”

What's what?
an attribute?
an attribute wrangle?
a primitive?
a measure SOP?
Well, I don't know exactly how the measure SOP calculates the area, does it matter ?

What do you think about this sim ? It looks ugly the first few frames but I think it pays off in the end.

Aaahh, looking at your pictures again, it looks like you think that the output plug of a geometry node is geometry data. So no, as I said those are for parenting, or manipulating the transformation data with other OBJECT LEVEL nodes.
I think what you want is an object merge SOP, just look it up and see what it does.

I did something very similar with particles. The key is to have a lot, then play with size and opacity.

Oh, like any other attribute: f@area;
You meant attribute wrangle right? Run over primitives

Maybe what you want is a digital asset in sop level, not object level.
If so, make a subnet then…. well there's a lot of tutorials about it.

That input is for parenting, so do you want to have two parents for that object ?
If not, what purpose do you want that input to serve ?
