Why is it I can create an attribute in a vop pop but then no matter what I try I cannot one level up in pops use that attribute with any success. So far the only way I have been able to read that vop pop attribute is to lay down a NULL and then use a point expression in my parameter to read the attribute.

I am not sure if I am stumbling around with the wrong workflow or if something is just plane broken.

I can't quite remember how Variable mapping works in the VOP POP…

But you should definitely be able to use the poppoint() expression!

Added to my notes but I also seem to have difficulties in getting a VOP SOP custom attribute for my emission area to read in the source pop also.
