help me pick an affordable machine to run Houdini

I've downloaded the free apprentice version, but I only have 1 gig of memory and 32 bit machine. Time for a new PC? What would be a good but not $$$ machine to allow me to run a rigid sims?

phenom x4 + 4G o' ram + win7x64 has been kind to me so far…

I've read some reviews, graphics card is weak?
Or is that just for gamers, not an issue with Houdini?
