hello there ,

i have been learning Houdini for almost a month or so now , watched many tutorials and i think I'm happy for what i got so far

however there is few things that not clear to me ,

1- Should i learn Motion Builder softwares such as Autodesk MotionBuilder or any other mocap software ?

is it easy to create Face Expression with Houdini so that no need to learn/Buy new software for such things ?

thanks guys , sorry I'm new to this and really i can't find any Good character animation for Houdini

full animation rigs (body and face) can be built with Houdini without the need to use any third party software.
motion capture is something else all together…its about how your animation is generated - either an animator uses a rig to animate or you capture the motion of a person and use that data to drive a rig - with the addition of an animator to clean up and augment this animation.
while there might be less out there on character animation in Houdini than in other applications, Houdini has all the tools to get the job done and all the principles are the same.

I'm wondering if there is a facial capture software that Houdini users like to use. Maybe Syntheyes?
