Hi, after watching the 2012 Siggraph Game Art presentation by Freek Hoekstra, I was just woindering if whom ever made the digital asset for the city builder, was that ever released as a download? I would like taking a look at how this digital asset was created, but I have found nothing on the internet.
when all else fails, go back to the dreawing board!

The digital assets from that presentation are not available for download. Many of the concepts used are being taught in the new webinar series called Next Steps | Procedural Modeling:

I wish i could facebook like this post
Next steps module 1 was great! I noticed that i was thinking more procedurally just from watching it! I realized that i haven't nearly been using the switch sop enough. Ari is an excellent instructor.
One thing that i am wondering is, will there be any information made available on writing an output driver to interface with a game engine? It is not really clear to me how to get color attributes, normals, uvs, etc… exported properly.
