Fur Crash on H12.5

If I try to disable the “scattered guides” option on the fur node Houdini crashes no matter what geometry I use, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I get this problem with this file which is a simple geometry with fur created in Houdini, I would appreciate if someone else could test it.
