where can we find irradiance caching in mantra rop of houdini 12 apprentice :?:
am following PQ's GI tuts as he explained irradiance caching in from mantra
i tried to follow but i cant find any irradiance folder
any help is appreciated

That must be quite an old vimeo video.
These days to do irradiance cacheing, you can use the Indirect GI Light. Just place one in your scene from the Cameras and Lights shelf called the Indirect Light.
This will enable photon generation of cached indirect light in your scene.
The older method was convoluted and required a pre-render pass of photons. By using the indirect light, it is all streamlined in to a single render press with the irradiance cache generated prior to rendering.
