Hi all, im hoping to get a bit of help…
Im trying to render off a separate shadow pass. Ive read earlier posts, but they dont really answer what i want to do.
For simplicity ill use the ball/groundplane example - say i have a ball floating above a ground plane….all i want to do is render the shadow cast from the ball onto the ground. In other words I want the ball, and its alpha channel to be completely invisible, and ONLY get the shadow it casts onto the ground as an isolated pass.
Right now i cant render the shadow without selecting the ‘Ball’ as being a visible object, in which case it gets in the way of my composite.
Any advice as to what im doing wrong
