Hi all,
I'am a beginner in 3D modelling, especially Houdini. My question is what is UV? In Houdini's Help I haven't found much… Could you please help me?
Also, in Help i've found something about Movie_ROP but it seems to be missing from my instalation files ( I'm using Houdini 7.0.192 ), is this normal for the version I have, or is my instalation kit incomplete?
What is UV ?

Arctor.. funny, but get back to work!
The best thing to do is to read the geometry PDF if they still have it around.
It will explain everything you need to know about modeling in houdini and the proper 3d concepts.
the movieROP would be anicent stuff IMHO. houdini had a movie format for a while… .hmv or something. I don' think it went anywhere…
sorry I can't help you with that one.
