This is embarassing, but I can't find the command to turn on Autosave from Hscript. I grudgingly acknowledge that the flag's state shouldn't be saved in the preferences, however I want to turn it on via the 456.cmd under various conditions but can't figure out how.
Nothing to be embarrassed about. There is presently no such command. Assuming that all you're looking for is a command to enable auto save in Houdini, this can be easily solved. However, if you're after auto save in hscript, that's a whole different ballgame.
There is no convenient way right now to get at the appropriate data through the HDK. I'll just throw writing the command onto my TODO pile. Though the pile IS huge, the request is fairly simple, so you have a good chance.
