Anyone notice that the editSOP isn't as spiffy as it used to be?
It is not reacting as fast as it used to do.. click, turn on the jack. It also is refusing to allow me to click a point and drag, and it isn't allowing me to drag points with out the jack being displayed.
just wondering.

One thing I've noticed that for some reason - and it could be video card issues - but having meshes with point-colours on them seem to tumble so much slower than I remember. Models of around 50-100k polys, that is.
I must regress a few versions to check it out. I hope I'm wrong, but if not then it might be related.

7.0 was the same as 8.0, so my mistake.
Interesting though… poly model with 500k prims on nvidia quadro something.
with point colours:
shaded: 965.26 ms
wire: 44.20 ms
with no point colours:
shaded: 22.51 ms (shaded is faster than wire!)
wire: 39.91 ms
