the new auto rig and blengshapes?

I've been playing around with the new auto rig and some blendshapes. Starting slow…an animated can. However I try to add some blendshapes and then pipe them in before the bonecapturebifarmonic node and the shapes are crushingly slow…looks like it has to recalculate the weights each time I touch it. Is there a better place/way to be doing this?

yep -
after you've calculated the bonecapturebiharmonic, you'll want to either:
append a null SOP and give it a name like: geo_wCaptureAttribs
or - and this is a much more common workflow, save the geometry out to disk with a similar name (something you can recognise), then with a file SOP, read that geometry back in and feed that to your blendshapes node

have a look inside the SimpleFemale or SimpleMale characters on the Character Shelf - they both use this second workflow.
