Hey there guys, quick question

What is the vex equivalent of $NVTX > 4 ?

I need to select ngons inside the group expression node.

I think in the next year I will have to finally sit down and learn me some vex soon as hscript is pretty much out of the picture..

i thought it should be written in probably Wrangle, but i don't know where to look for the counted result and how to highlight or color them in the viewport and if there should be smth else except these strokes?

in groupexpression seems it works, but how to type another variation > 4 ? to create two groupexpressions - one for < 4 and one for >4 ?

Hey guys. Interesting topic but is there a quicker way to select or detect ngons in Houdini? Kind of like XSI's select ngons?
Thanks

I'm assuming you are looking for non-procedural way of selecting in the viewport, which would be equivalen to XSI

in that case, while in Primitive Selection Mode
RMB/Select n-Sied Polygons/make your choice (Triangles | Quads | Five-sided or Greater)
