I attached a file to illustrate the issue. I have flat plane with simple 0 to 1 uvs and a plane with a complex carving and I want to bake out the normal map from carving to flat plane.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can somebody help?
Looks like the high-res normals are facing the wrong direction. You can use reverse SOP to flip them (you may have to remove the existing N attributes first).
