shading layer parameter vop?

I have posted the question for 3 times, no response.
Is there any vop like shading layer parameter vop under rsl shader?

It is a really!!! a big problem to me that how to read uv from object for rman shader? ????????????????

use a global variables VOP and use s and t. make sure you use an attribute SOP and on the renderman tab check “add default mappings”

I tried as you said jesta, and also tried to use my complied slo shader, but it doesnt work for me

I can see the texture work well in the viewport, but can't get texture right when rendering.

need help…………………

IIRC s and t are for the parametric coordinates, like on a NURBS patch. I've never used the RSL side of VOPs, but shouldn't you be able to import the UVs just like any other attribute with a Parameter VOP? Parameter VOP > type: vector > name: uv > Vector to Float VOP > pipe the first two floats wherever your next node takes s & t.

Don't know how different RSL is, but I hope that helps.
