As a personal R&D project, I did my version of Hobbes, to experiment with grooming and rigging in Houdini.

Ever since I was a child, I've always liked to imagine and build things, usually with legos. While still in high school, inspired by animation and special effects in movies, I began my first experiments with 3D animation software. For the past 20+ years, I have created many types of CG content, from motion graphics, to design visualization, special effects, advertising and children's TV animation. I have a special love for modeling, texturing and animating stylized cartoon characters. My approach is that of a creative problem-solver, striving for flexible and optimized procedural workflows whenever possible.

Looks great! Will you animate him next? (I love Calvin and Hobbes)

      Hey, thanks.
I would like to do at least a small animation, yes, but the result I got from auto-rigger was very "fiddly", with flipping and twisting deformations, I barely managed to do this pose. For animation, I will have to learn and do a rig of my own, from scratch.
