I saw a note about new versions of nvidia drivers causing issues, is there any ETA to a proper fix?
And yeah it is being pretty unstable for me on Linux even on X11, is it just me?

Hey mzigalb. I am on Rocky Linux 9.8 (X11) and the Nvidia 610.43.02. I am not seeing any issues. I just finished a project in H22 with zero issue. No crashes at all. I have also used H21 without issue as well. Are the crashes happening at a specific time, specific operation?
Here is the instructions I used to install the driver.

Im' currently having issues with Fedora and Houdini 22.0.418. The issue is that it crashes before loading the UI. If I disable OpenCL then it opens normally but COPs is slow
Basically I'm doing this
cd /opt/hfs22.0.418
source houdini_setup
HOUDINI_OCL_DEVICETYPE=CPU houdini
My current nvidia drivers are 610.57.04.
I hope that helps.

I’m running Houdini 22 on Pop!_OS with the NVIDIA 580 driver branch and OpenCL works fine here.
Since Houdini starts for you when forcing HOUDINI_OCL_DEVICETYPE=CPU, I’d strongly suspect the NVIDIA/OpenCL side, especially since you’re on 610.57.04.
I’d try rolling back to the 580 branch first. That’s also the branch SideFX currently recommends for Houdini 22 on Linux.
