Hi,
How can I change the color of curve points in Houdini 22?
In the Dark/Dark Grey themes, the point color blends completely with the curve line itself, making them almost impossible to see.

Also, don't forget that there's a native (very old) "Viewport Color Editor" panel, which offers a variety of color settings for viewport elements. Its downsides are: 1) it's unavailable by default (funny, huh?); 2) it needs to be launched via a Python script; 3) new colors in H22 are displayed only as numbers, not as a color bar like in previous versions, apparently a potential incompatibility issue; 4) it lacks a dark gray mode panel. 5) to see the changes, you need to save them and switch the viewport to another tab and back, which can be confusing the first time.
Why such a necessary feature isn't available out of the box, I can't figure out. It's in the Houdini folder, and how to install it is described in the Houdini documentation. Perhaps this is a test of your wits? I don't know, I don't know... It's impossible to find this thing without a hint, IMHO.
The "dark gray" mode can be added by editing a file. Honestly, I always completely forget this process and go through it with AI, completely dumbfounded every time.
But it's still a very useful thing for correcting the blue axis color in dark modes (my personal hatred).
P.S. Regarding the point color, cyan is still the best. Unfortunately, there's no separate color for curve points, so it's best to increase the size.
Using the Shelf tool script, I used a hotkey to switch between two point sizes, changing them to suit different situations.

Mine too. See my very old post here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HoudiniArtists/posts/6867174933398252 [www.facebook.com]
I also have some colour tweaks to aid the visibility of the grid and construction planes, which are important to me.
I was hoping the new H22 colour settings would solve all these issues - but no, we get all the ice cream flavours and more for the themes, but relatively little that's useful in making the UI easier to use, colour wise.
