connect line on every other point of a grid

Hi all

Im wondering whats are ways to connect lines only on every other points of a grid.
Please see me attached image. I only want line to connect points 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10
I used “group by range”, and I was able to select the points that I thought needed for connection.
Then I use a “add” node to connect points. However, Im not sure how to get rid of line between points 2-3,4-5,6-7,8-9,10-11

I think I have a solution now.
I just found out the “sort” node
and I need to use “group by range”, set select “2” in every “4” to make it work
but if you have any other solution, please let me know, thanks a lot

Because red lines are chord of triangles, you can use Group SOP and enable Include by Edges then turn on Max Edge Length to capture other edge of triangles and finally use a Dissolve SOP node with the group to remove shorter edges.

it's all in the Add
go ahead and change number of columns of the grid…it will adapt.
