How to change the size of the new Python state info

The Python state info in the viewport looks enormous on my 2560x1440 screen. See the attached screenshot.

I can't find anywhere how to change the size. Does anybody know?

Get in contact with SESI, maybe it requires a RFE.

Yes, please file a bug. Please include info like the OS (is that macOS, or a Linux with a Mac-like theme?) and your UI scaling setting. I haven't had any problem with the HUD on my Macs

Fantastic. They are fixed hints - so after you look at them a few times and discover you don't use them much they do get in the way. There is
Edit > Preferences | Interactive Tools | [x] Keep HUD State Persistent
which at least keeps it collapsed, but it would be nice to have the option to set size to 0 (turn it off)

... wait a sec, this goes back a year? Is there an option somewhere for this now?

I am praying for this to get completely switched off by default.
Even the redundant tool name overlay.
I value every bit of screen space personally.
