Just to clarify - there's nothing special about apprentice - it's the same distribution as the full package. The only difference is that you install an apprentice license.

Yeah, I had just noticed that it was removed from the Apprentice link and I was wondering if it was by design.

Well, we probably want to start discouraging H8 apprentice.

Of course not. Why would you want to encourage a new user to be learning a release that's going to eventually be deprecated? Regardless of any outstanding issues, you want to be on the latest release, especially when there's so many changes.
