Very inspirational work.
Thank you sidefx for organizing and releasing these notes.
Thank you Mario for presenting what seems to be a fairly unaccessible and complicated area (for most of us) in understandable terms and clear breakdowns. I am eager to try to implement some of your “side projects” . With the references and the knowledge in the presentation I think it might be possible for a beginning shader writer like myself.
Excellent pace and very little hesitation - you are probably a busy man, but you would make an excellent tutor for a video tutorial dvd on shader writing with houdini.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
I just now gathered enough courage to listen to it myself.
It didn't turn out as bad as I thought, given that the mic kept falling off every time I moved… the fun of live content
Next up is Wolfwood, who's been hallucinating some pretty cool stuff with POPs and VEX.
May the mic be with you, brother
Cheers!

Oh! Dark Lord of the Sith! What kind of cool amazing stuff? Some words about that stuff, please!
Hmmmm.
Ask me again the night before, I might know by then.
Seriously though. There are some key things I'd like to hit, but if there is some POP-ish stuff that you'd like to know about, now is the time to ask.
Saying something like “Doing ____ is impossible in POPs” will only increase the chance I'll talk about it.
