I was tasting some of my old HDAs with unreal 5 and 5.2 but once I connect any input geo to the HDA unreal always crashing with no clear reason dose anyone else faced the same or had an idea to solve it

Hi
I installed engine for unreal 5.2.1 and I followed the most common steps but it looks like non-successful because I get error msg:
unreal plugin 'houdiniengine' failed to load because module 'houdiniengine' not found.
am looking in how to fix this till now what I think about is that houdini engine dose not support unreal 5.2.1 is that true?

Hi There
I have an object compiled of multiple flat shapes which needed to be simulated as an RBD
which was not possible as it has no volume to be aware in collision
So I used VDB to get another version of it use it wit the sim
and then I cached the file as point out to be used with transform pices on the original object
but i get a problem as it move some primitives and the others remain in the old place
So I packed the original object and now am trying to transform the animation between both of them without success
any idea to solve this ???

Hi
am trying to create a vortex kind effect am using a curve to guide my velocity and get it into my pop network using sop geometry
since adding the node and connect it to my vortex node every thing go as fine
but when ever i name my curve in the sop the software crashes and shutting down
am using Houdini 17.0.352 is it a bug with this version or its my mistake ? I test it with multiple machine same result
any suggest could help

Hi
I have a cloth object stitched with rope throw a holes in that cloth object
but when i start a simulation the rope get stretched forever and pass throw the cloth
how i can solve this problem? or what parameters I should maintain?

I have some lines here
i want to turn them to point sepreatly
and group each point in a group with name pointing to the point number
and then i merge all the same names group in one group
is that possible or just am high

I got it
the problem was the operator definition is not correct it was pointing to something else
so i was have to correct it and direct it the original one

I have here a curve created between tow points
every point get its position according to an object position
ok no i wan to copy a box along this curve but always keep it look in direction vector from the first point to the end point
i used poly frame and the point method even i tried to use point vop
but always there is something missing
So can you guide me on this

Hi guys
am new to houdini but am trying to catch it
now when I edit the parameter interface and adding a flaot to the interface and i give it a name like (( mult )) or any other name
when i try to use it in expression houdini gives me error and telling me its undefined
so what is my mistake or what I miss ??
