If you haven't, you should submit a bug here: https://www.sidefx.com/bugs/submit/ [www.sidefx.com]
SideFX normally responds to them in a day or two.

I ran into the same problem and was wondering if I did something unusual in my HDA (I'm a Houdini n00b so that could easily be the case). It would be really helpful if (2) above was implemented though, to at least help me narrow in on the offending parameter.
BTW, I started getting this warning spam after bringing in an HDA for a heightfield (landscape in UE4). I recorded a video for another Houdini engine bug I ran into but noted that warning as well (https://youtu.be/Mn0u842QRuk?t=211).

Hi,
Have you installed the Unreal plugin when installing H17.0.459?
Yes. I also tried reinstalling 17.0.459 but got the same messages.
However, today I upgraded to 506 and the problem went away. Perhaps I didn't check the “Houdini Engine for Unreal” checkbox like I remembered, but I'm almost certain I did. I guess me being at fault is the most likely explanation though.

When I build my C++ UE4 project, I get a bunch of messages in the build output Windows about not being able to find Houdini.
The weird thing is that the messages reference Houdini and Houdini Engine 17.0.416, but I'm currently running 17.0.459. I tried reinstalling Houdini 17.0.459 to no avail.

Houdini Engine for Unreal » Prevent Houdini UE4 plugin from automatically loading

How can I prevent the UE4 Houdini plugin from automatically loading?
As it stands, every time I open a UE4 project (including projects I do not want to use Houdini in) the Houdini plugin is loaded automatically. Once this happens, UE4 editor tells me the project file has changed and asks me to save it. If I do, I can see the only change to the project file is that the Houdini plugin has been added.
I'd like to disable this automatic Houdini plugin loading behavior and have the Houdini plugin work like every other UE4 plugin, which requires you to explicitly enable it on a per-project basis.

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Configure Space+RMB Dolly so it isn't bounded by screen

Is it possible to configure dolly [www.sidefx.com] so that it isn't bounded by the screen when using Space+RMB? I want Houdini scene view to continue to zoom out as long as I hold down Space+RMB while moving the mouse downwards, even if it hits the edge of the screen.
I know the mouse wheel can achieve something similar, but I'm asking specifically about Space+RMB dolly.
Thanks.
