Hello,

I'm trying to model a “bumpy” window like the image shown below. One way to do it in my mind is to create a box, array it and then apply poly bevel to them, however I feel that it's not the best way to do it. Is there a way to extrude all the faces/polygons of a grid without the individual face being connected to its neighbouring faces. One method I can think of is to apply something like the edge split function in 3Ds Max

UPDATE: Just found the option I needed in Polyextrude, the option is called Divide into, and I chose Individual Elements then increased the inset.

you can displace with a point vop, too.
but if you don't really need the geometry a displacement shader would be much better in my opnion.
