Hey guys,
I started learning Houdini recently, and it's awesome!
I made a sweet little flip fluid waterfall using an “emit particle fluid”, so far so good.
I want to export this awesome waterfall to Maya to render it in my scene with MtoA but couldn't find any information about the workflow anywhere. Only a couple of youtube tutorials in which the fluid export looks like some ugly metaballs and I'm really not sure the guy is using the right workflow.
If someone could help me out here, that would be amazing.

Export the Mesh as Arnold ASS files, then you can load it inn Maya and render.

Thanks for your answr but I don't understand how to do this.
I've seen someone out there on Youtube who connects a write node to the surface cache and then export an alembic file.
I did that and imported the alembic file into maya but there's only one frame visible in Maya, not the whole animation.
Am I on the right path for a workflow houdini maya?
I'd like to the shading in Maya.
What is the right workflow?
I can't get it yet
