I have group of object inside obj/geo, lets say several spheres and boxes in different sizes. And all of them are placed on top of each others at origin of the scene.

Questions, in sop, is there a way that I can build something up to lay them in a row or several rows Lets say along the X axis one next to the other. The goal is it automatically calculate the bounding box of the each object and make sure there is no overlapping.

cheers

Not in sops AFAIK, but you can do it with a wrangle. Here's something from earlier this year, modified a little to answer your question.
