Hello, I'm asking myself a question I have two 12 cores machines each and 32go of ram I was wondering if it was possible to do my water simulations with both machines?
Later I will have access to several workstations with houdini license to manage my renderings, I would like to know how to do it for simulations and if it is possible?
Simulation whit two computer or more ?

Hi,
There are a number of ways to distribute a simulation, but it usually means splitting up your sims into separate parts. This suits some simulation types better than others. HQueue is often used for this.
Here is a link to a recent tutorial on setting up HQueue and using PDG.

Well, I was able to configure the server and client
when I connect to my server I can see the “home hqueue”
I see my client connected, but if I start the job from houdini I get an error message

I note that there is a daily build that fixes this problem (it did for me). That said it still isn't working for me due to other problems. I'm interested in knowing if anyone is actually using HQueue with H18 that doesn't use the default network mounts?
